Logicool: new name, new address

UK: Award winning air conditioning distributor Logicool has moved to new premises and changed its name to reflect growing sales of heat pumps.
The move to the new premises to Moira in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, just three miles from its former address, coincides with the change of name to Logicool Air Conditioning & Heat Pumps Ltd.
Speaking at the official opening today, md Karl Richardson said “The change of name more closely reflects the market and what we do. While air conditioning i still very important to us, heat pump sales are rocketing and I expect them to be 50% of our business in the next three years.”
The new building offers 2,000ft² of warehouse – with the option to expand to a further 2,000ft² next door – and increased office space to accommodate the company’s expanding staff roster. Recent additions have seen the appointment of Mark Cobb as national heat pump manager and Shah Mughaal has joined from Thermofrost Cryo to provide technical sales support.
Formed in 2008, Logicool has been achieving year-on-year sales increases of around 20%. Seven months into this financial year, the company is more than confident of reaching its £4.1m target.
