Merritt heads BESA RACHP group

UK: Richard Merritt of Watford-based AC Solutions Group has been appointed chair of BESA’s Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump (RACHP) group executive committee.

Merritt replaces Jason Canning of NBC Air Conditioning who has stepped down after three years in the role. Also resigning from the committee after many years’ service is former BESA president Malcolm Thomson, who also represented the members as a director of ACRIB. 

Richard Merritt has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, taking over the family business AC Solutions Group Ltd as MD in 2001. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Refrigeration, licentiate at the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and Engineering Technician status at the Engineering Council.
