Miriam becomes an IoR member

UK: Miriam Rodway has been elected a member of the Institute of Refrigeration (IoR), the organisation she has headed as chief executive for the last 21 years.

Miriam Rodway’s timely election coincides with today’s International Women’s Day and boosts efforts to raise the number of women members of the IoR to 100 by June 23.

Thanking colleagues and members for their support and encouragement, Miriam Rodway said: “I don’t have an engineering background, but have learned so much over my years of working with our members, its really nice to get this high level of recognition.”

As chief executive, Miriam Rodway is ultimately responsible for the operations of the Institute, which boasts over 2000 members.
