Nibe reopens heat pump training centre

UK: Nibe Energy Systems has reopened its heat pump training academy in Chesterfield following its refurbishment.

The Chesterfield Training Academy provides comprehensive installation and commissioning and service and maintenance courses, alongside the company’s own Nibe Pro training. This RQF Level 3 Award in Heat Pump Technology provides training and requirements for MCS, is recognised by NAPIT and is LCL Awards approved.

NIBE’s UK employees along with UK MD Phil Hurley and EMEA sales director Stefan Nordenfors, were joined by the Mayor of Chesterfield Tony Rogers and his wife Mayoress Sharon Rogers for the unveiling of the newly refurbished centre.

The company’s products were showcased at the event – including its award-winning S2125 air-source propane heat pump. Visitors also viewed Nibe’s award-winning PV-T panels, which transform ground source heat pumps into multi-source heat pumps as well as other low carbon home heating products and controls.

The refurbished training facility has the capacity to train around 3,600 heat pump installers per year. In addition, Nibe has established partnerships with other colleges and other training centres to boost access to training across the country.
