Oceanair adds extra heat pump experience

UK: Oceanair UK has appointed Roland Gurner to head up its air-to-water heat pump division.

Gurner joins the air conditioning and heat pump distributor on the back of nearly 10 years’ experience designing, installing and commissioning air source heat pumps.

A customer of Oceanair for the last six years, Gurner has experience of the Panasonic Aquarea range, and has also designed and commissioned many Daikin systems.

At Oceanair he will help existing heating companies with the transition away from traditional boilers and pure electric systems. Making himself available to help at each stage of the process from design through to commissioning, and for those that need it, thanks to his experience he’s even able to help achieve and maintain MCS certification.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have Roly on board, we have been in discussions for some time and it became very clear that we share the same passion for properly designed, thoughtfully applied and carefully commissioned projects,” commented Oceanair UL MD Tony Evanson. “Roly brings all of this expertise and more, now that ASHP are included in the green homes grant scheme as a primary measure it is clear to us that this market is going to accelerate, and this is only the start.”

Oceanair UK Ltd, established in 2002, are specialist distributors for Panasonic, Daikin and Fujitsu heat pumps, with offices and warehouses in Mansfield and Crawley.
