Pansonic Aquarea takes to the road

UK: Panasonic is to tour Wolseley plumbing merchants branches from Scotland to the south coast of England with its fully kitted out Aquarea heat pump van.

The Aquarea Van is fitted with a working model of the Aquarea air-source heat pump and fully showcases the unit’s quiet operation, highlighting the range of air-to-water heat pumps available.

The new eye-catching mobile unit will be used to demonstrate and raise awareness of Panasonic’s Aquarea heat pumps for both residential and commercial use. Technical experts will be on-hand to provide in-depth technical assistance for both building professionals and the wider supply chain.

Visitors to the mobile unit will also be able to learn how the Panasonic Aquarea kit integrates with the Wiser home heating system to create a fully smart solution.

“The road show programme provides an opportunity for us to talk directly with Wolseley’s customers, to educate and show working units to installers, and to help them more fully understand the technology and the benefits of heat pumps. Interest is high from installers looking to learn more about installing air source heat pumps, and this partnership provides a great way for us to reach more installers throughout the UK,” said Panasonic area sales manager Charley Sawyer, who was instrumental in putting this new partnership together.

Following the tour, Panasonic and Wolseley are to cooperate again in the new year to offer training courses throughout the UK.
