UK: Philip Sloper, the former MD of refrigeration wholesaler Thermofrost Cryo, has died aged 70.

After reading for a degree in natural sciences at Cambridge University, Philip joined Delta Metals as a graduate trainee and was assigned to work at Delta Cryo Ltd, based in Birmingham.

ln 1982 the company was acquired by United Termofrost and merged into a single company renamed Thermofrost Cryo Ltd. At that time Philip became marketing director of the new company.
