SBS Thurrock moves to Rainham

UK: Air conditioning product distributor SBS has relocated its Thurrock branch to a new 35,000ft² facility in Rainham, Essex.
Now situated on Rainham’s Avocet Park, the branch also carries the new name of SBS Rainham (London East).
Established in 2009, this East London branch is one of best performing branches in the 14-depot SBS network. When Thurrock started out 10 years ago, the budget was £2.6m and this year the budget is now surpassing £17m, an increase of over 575%. It was this growth that prompted the move, with the new branch capable of holding greater stock levels.
Staff numbers have also grown from just seven in 2009 to 34 people today. At the same period of time, the transport fleet has grown from two to 11 vehicles
