Scottish dinner raises £3500 for charities

UK: Charities have benefited to the tune of £3,500 following last month’s sell-out IoR Scotland dinner.

The £3,500 donations from the event at Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza Hotel on November 14 were split between Calum’s Cabin, a holiday retreat on the Isle of Bute for children suffering from cancer, and the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice, a charity looking after the palliative care needs of people living in and around greater Glasgow.

This annual event, which this year celebrated its 40th anniversary, has raised £50,000 in total for charity.
