Sowden joins Chemours

UK: David Sowden has joined Chemours as technical marketing specialist after over 18 years at Emerson as sales manager UK and Eire. 

In his new role, he will be supporting the adoption of Chemours’ Opteon-brand low GWP refrigerants in the EMEA region, providing technical support to OEMs, distributors and their customers.

David Sowden began his career as a project engineer with York International’s Marine Division in 1989, later becoming responsible for large chiller installations in London. Joining Dean & Wood in 1993 as a technical engineer, he moved to Danfoss in 1997 as product manager for controls and compressors.

Sowden is a Fellow of the IoR and sits on the Service Engineers Section and on the FETA HVAC and chairs the A2L committee.
