Space wins supplier award

Award winners (left to right): Jason Carroll (project manager), Adam Cleaver (industrial business manager), Mark Ward (head of industrial & fm) and Lee Wallhead (project manager)

UK: Space Engineering Services has been named Sustainability Supplier of the Year by foodservice company Bidcorp.

The award follows Space Engineering’s successful installation of a CO2 refrigeration system for the Bidfood depot in Basingstoke. Formerly known as Bidvest, this was the foodservice company’s first CO2 installation.

The award was presented at the Bidcorp annual charity dinner last week. The event was organised by Bidfood, Best Food Logistics and Bidfresh, and raised £35,000 for charity.

Following the announcement, Space Engineering’s industrial business manager Adam Cleaver said: “We are over the moon to receive the award, and it is very humbling for us to be recognised for the excellent work we have done with Bidfood.”

Cleaver was also runner-up in the Account Manager of the Year Award.
