TCS&D to be cold chain feature at ITT Hub

UK: The Temperature Controlled Storage and Distribution exhibition (TCS&D) is to be integrated into the ITT Hub commercial vehicle show from 2022, becoming an annual event.

The inaugural ITT Hub event was held at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre from June 30-July 1. The event is said to have hosted over 150 exhibitors and attracted 4,000 visitors to the 45,000m2 indoor and outdoor space.

This year’s TCS&D show will take place as planned at the East of England Arena near Peterborough on the 7-8 September 2021, and will then be integrated into the ITT Hub 2022 at Farnborough from 11-12 May 2022.

The new Cold Chain Hub has been allocated an additional 4000m2 of indoor exhibition space, and expects around 50 exhibitors. It will be run by the TCS&D.

“The entire distribution sector for trailers and cold chain is a hugely significant part of the transport piece,” said Gareth Rogers, CEO of Farnborough International. “Refrigerated products and technology are advancing at pace, as part of the drive towards decarbonisation of transport.”

Martyn Cogan, director of TCS&D, maintained that the much larger venue team would create a pioneering showcase for the industry. “We are aiming to bring back the ever popular TCS&D Trade Dinner to the first evening of the show, creating an event which takes us to another level. It’s a great opportunity for the entire industry to support this collaboration and I can’t wait to get started.”
