TEV appoints new MD

John Dobson is the new MD at TEV

UK: TEV Ltd, manufacturer of Quartz fan coils, chillers and chilled beams and Marstair air conditioning and refrigeration products has announced new additions to its board of directors.

John Dobson, who boasts over 30 years’ experience in various blue-chip manufacturing companies, has been appointed MD of the Brighouse-based company, and Andrew Crown joins the business as commercial director.

Dobson replaces former MD Tony Hammersley, who will continue to assist the management team as a part-time non-executive director.

Most recently CEO of Paragon Creative, an award-winning company designing and building visitor attractions and experiences, Dobson originally trained as an accountant with Denso Marston, but quickly moved into general management. His previous employers have included GE Lighting, Alcatel, Nexans, Superior Essex, LS Cable and Hill & Smith.

In the last 20 years Dobson has been focused on upscaling manufacturing organisations in the UK, Central Europe and Asia.

Andrew Crown brings over 25 years’ experience within the HVAC sector to his new role as TEV commercial director. His previous roles have included 15 years’ corporate experience at board level both in the UK and in Europe, including instrumental roles with Daikin, Baxi and ATAG Heating Technology.

Most recently he was group executive director at CORGI Technical Services. His experience at Daikin UK from 2010 to 2013 saw him progressing from regional branch director for London and the south east to commercial director – heating & renewables.
