Toshiba opens heat pump showroom

UK: Toshiba has opened an air-to-water heat pump showroom at its site in Stockport.

The facility includes working examples of Toshiba’s latest high efficiency ESTIA system operating on the lower GWP refrigerant R32.

The showroom was officially opened by David Dunn, sales director for northern Europe for Carrier’s recently established residential and light commercial (RLC) division, and David McSherry, UK sales manager for Toshiba and DX Air Conditioning.

Supporting the opening were members of the local Sale Sharks rugby team, for which Toshiba is this season’s Big Screen Sponsor.

The showroom enables customers to see the full range of options in the Toshiba ESTIA range, including outdoor condensing units, domestic hot water storage systems, hydro-modules, and the company’s all-in-one solution containing both storage vessel and hydro-module, ideal for use in newbuild properties.

Toshiba anticipates the facility proving invaluable for distributors and installers keen to show their own end-user customers the system in action.
