Training provider lends name to football stadium

UK: Air conditioning and refrigeration training company Technique Learning Solutions has increased its support for local football team Chesterfield by securing the naming rights for the club’s stadium.

Already Chesterfield FC’s home and away shirt sponsors, the new five-year deal with Technique Learning Solutions sees the club’s 10,000-seater stadium, which they moved into in 2010, being named the Technique Stadium.

Chesterfield were relegated out of the English Football League into the National League (the fifth tier) in 2018. This season’s remaining National League fixtures were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic with Chesterfield in 19th position, two points above the relegation zone.

Founded in 2011, with seven centres covering the UK, Technique Learning Solutions is BESA and C&G accredited. It offers a range of air conditioning and refrigeration courses, from specific courses like F-gas to brazing and pipework to a full total air con/refrigeration package course. In addition, it offers electrical and programmable logic controller courses.
