Vaillant partners with Heat Geek

Heat Geek CEO Aadil Qureshi seals the deal with Vaillant technologies and training director Mark Wilkins

UK: Vaillant UK has formed a partnership with the Heat Geek community of independent heating engineers in an effort to drive heat pump uptake.

Heat Geek offers training courses to assist gas engineers to transition to heat pump work, as well as the tools and technologies to enable those engineers to grow their business as they put their new skills to work.

Vaillant operates a UK manufacturing plant for the AroTHERM plus R290 air-to-water heat pumps in Belper, Derbyshire. The two companies have worked together for many years and boast hundreds of installations across the country.

The new partnership deepens the relationship with Heat Geek’s installers being given bespoke access to Vaillant heat pumps as well as Vaillant specific product training.

Vaillant trainees will be given discounted Access to rewards and support, while all Heat Geek installers will benefit from the Vaillant Advance rewards programme, including when Heat Geek supply the equipment.

Heat Geek will work with Vaillant’s product and service teams to feedback front-line experiences from installers in the network and help prioritise solutions.

“This new partnership will not only enhance the support for installers across the country, it will help to deliver the best efficiencies for homeowners looking to decarbonise their home heating,” said Vaillant UK & Ireland MD Henrik Hansen. “By combining our product and support expertise with Heat Geek’s software and growing installer network, our partnership will focus on delivering high quality heat pump installations, making the transition to heat pumps smooth and simple.”
