Vectis joins refrigeration elite

UK: Cowes-based Vectis Refrigeration has attained Refcom Elite F-gas accreditation, one of less than 300 UK contractors to have done so.

While F-gas registration is a legal requirement for those carrying out installation, maintenance or servicing of equipment containing HFC refrigerants, Refcom Elite accreditation reflects best practice in refrigerant management. This voluntary scheme encourages working to industry codes of practice and compliance with the latest industry legislation.

Vectis Refrigeration founder Will Overton described the accreditation as “something which confirms to our customers that all our engineers hold the relevant qualifications and work to correct procedures at all times”.

The firm, which was incorporated in 2015, is now the only company on the Isle of Wight to hold both Safe Contractor accreditation and F-gas Elite certification.
