Webinar will explore best low GWP alternative

UK: J&E Hall Gold Medal winner, Dr Mark McLinden, will present the results of a study to identify HFC refrigerant alternatives during a special Institute of Refrigeration webinar next month.

Following the success of his presentation on low GWP refrigerants in small air conditioning systems to the IoR last November, McLinden returns on May 5 to report on the results of a comprehensive search for the best single-component, low-GWP replacement fluid for small air conditioning systems.

Dr McLinden has been actively engaged in researching new refrigerants for most of his career. He was one of the original developers of the NIST REFPROP database which has become the standard for refrigerant properties in the industry and which is widely used in the design of refrigeration equipment.
