West appointed operations director

UK: Hampshire-based temperature control specialist Aqua Cooling has appointed Mike West as operations director.
West joined Aqua in 2007, after studying marine engineering at Southampton’s Solent University. He quickly progressed from a graduate sales position to special projects engineer, working on larger scale technical process cooling projects across Europe, America, and the Middle East.
He played a key role in the design, development and roll out of a leak prevention system designed for data centre and other critical cooling applications which won for Aqua the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2015.
Over the years, Mike West has helped grow and support Aqua’s design and project teams, being actively involved on bespoke cooling systems for clients, with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. He was made contracts director in 2021.
In the new role of operations director, he takes responsibility for service, project, sales administration, health & safety and quality.
