Wolseley takes sustainable solutions on the road

UK: Refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump equipment wholesaler Wolseley Group has announced a series of roadshows to showcase the new solutions and technologies for sustainable energy transition.

The Future Energy Transition events will be held over the next three months across the UK. They will be aimed at helping professional installers to understand the multitude of more sustainable plumbing and heating options available to support the UK’s diverse housing stock. There will also be up to 20 equipment suppliers at the early evening events.

The focus will be on the advisory, technical, and propositional angle of low carbon heating solutions with the aim of outlining the opportunities that the UK’s energy transition will create for installers.

Interactive and educational sessions on topics such as legislation, training, and technology selection will be included, as well as presentations and Q&A sessions featuring industry experts and insiders. The events run from 17.00 – 20.00 (arrival for customers from 4.30pm).

“Our sector is always busy meeting demand from householders, so taking the latest technology and solutions on the road is an important way to increase not only awareness but understanding of what the best options for different types of UK home now are,” said Nick Coad, Head of ESG, Wolseley Group.

The schedule is: June 20, Bolton (Bolton Wanderers Stadium); July 4, Glasgow (Hampden Park); July 11, Southampton (St Mary’s Football Stadium); July 17, Cambridge (Babraham Institute); July 25, Exeter (Exeter Chiefs, Sandy Park); August 1, Leeds (Headingley Stadium); August 8, Northampton (Northampton Saints).
