Organiser promises bumper Chillventa 2026

GERMANY: Next month’s Chillventa exhibition in Nuremberg is set to be the largest and most comprehensive ever, with over 1,100 exhibitors and a wide-ranging programme of talks and seminars.
According to latest figures on the exhibition organiser’s website, the 2026 event will feature 1,148 exhibitors from over 50 countries. If confirmed, this will indicate a 13% increase on the previous record of 1,019 exhibitors set in 2018.
In addition, trade visitors can look forward to a wide-ranging programme of talks and information sessions on current industry topics such as refrigeration technology, heat pumps, energy efficiency and digitalisation.
The day before the show opens, the Chillventa Congress on 12 October will offer scientific insights and in-depth specialist knowledge.
In four specialist forums across three halls during the show, renowned speakers from national and international companies will present topics in over 200 presentations.
“At the trade fair, in the forums, in the Future Hub and, last but not least, at the Chillventa Congress, the focus this year will once again be on heat pumps and refrigerants in the context of sustainability and the circular economy,” said Dr Rainer Jakobs, coordinator of the supporting programme at Chillventa and the European Heat Pump Summit.
The Chillventa supporting programme is further enhanced by the new Future Hub in hall 9, Stand 9-504, where practitioners, thought leaders and technology experts will be on hand to present ready-to-use solutions for the future of skilled trade businesses.
In addition to inspiration and ideas, there will also be specific practical examples. These will illustrate how businesses can be further developed in light of technological progress and increasing digitalisation.
The Chillventa Congress will focus on international knowledge transfer. Leading experts from the fields of research, development and industry will share their insights at the ASERCOM + EPEE Symposium, as well as the lecture series Heat Pumping Technologies, the Ninth Innovation Day for Refrigeration Technology and Air Conditioning for Data Centres.
