€1,000 for winning Women in Cooling video

Steve Gill presents the Women in Cooling video award to Charlotte Robinson during this week’s AREA AGM

UK: Charlotte Robinson, winner of the recent European Women in Cooling video competition, was presented with her award yesterday at a special ceremony at the historic Titanic Museum in Belfast.

Robinson, an industrial refrigeration engineer with Catalent Pharma Solutions in Swindon, UK, was presented with a €1,000 cheque, courtesy of World Refrigeration Day and a winners trophy from European contractors group AREA.

Presenting the award, Steve Gill of sponsor World Refrigeration Day said: “Charlotte’s standout performance involved expertly troubleshooting a compressor, highlighting her exceptional technical skills and problem-solving prowess, which are indispensable in our field.”

President of AREA Coen van de Sande expressed his pleasure at the high calibre of entries. “The outstanding quality of this year’s entries will undoubtedly inspire more women to enter the field of refrigeration technology.”
