Alfa Laval joins Carrier Alliance

USA: Alfa Laval has joined the Carrier Alliance programme as a supplier of engineered heat exchangers across Carrier’s global commercial HVAC and refrigeration portfolios.

Carrier and Alfa Laval have collaborated for many years, with a focus on developing more sustainable solutions and reducing the environmental impact of heating and cooling equipment components.

“Over the years, Alfa Laval has supported Carrier by providing best-in-class components that help improve reliability, reduce operating cost and increase uptime,” said Ed Dunn, Carrier’s supply chain vice president.

The Carrier Alliance programme, first announced last year, seeks to optimise the US manufacturer’s supply chain as part of planned cost savings of $600m over the next three years. Carrier has previously stated that the programme “will both strengthen and lengthen strategic relationships with suppliers and provide certainty, security and growth opportunities for Carrier and its key suppliers”.
