Beijer Ref makes CFO leadership change

Ulf Berghult is set for a new role as Beijer Ref CFO and executive VP

SWEDEN: Maria Rydén is to step down as chief financial officer and executive vice president at refrigeration wholesaler Beijer Ref AB after four years in the roles.

Rydén will be replaced by Ulf Berghult, currently Group CFO for the Perstorp Group. He previously had the same role at Trelleborg Group, Dometic Group and Thule Group.

Thanking Rydén for her commitment and service over the past four years, Beijer Ref’s new CEO Christopher Norbye acknowledged that, while they had only worked together for a short time, he and the board had a high appreciation and regard for her work and what she has contributed to Beijer Ref during her time.

Norbye recognised Ulf Berghult’s strong track record as a successful CFO. “He will play a key role in the further development of the company where his background and previous experiences will be a great asset for us, as we plan to accelerate our future growth and mission to provide the market with global expertise in sustainable refrigeration and air conditioning.”

Maria Rydén will continue to serve as CFO until further notice. Ulf Berghult will start in his new position latest in April of 2022.
