Bitzer India relocates HQ

INDIA: The head office of Bitzer India has been moved to a new location in the centre of Mumbai.

The German refrigeration and air conditioning compressor manufacturer now has seven offices in India, including representations of subsidiaries and the service network Green Point.

Bitzer can trace its involvement in the Indian market back to 1959. In addition to Mumbai, Bitzer India has offices in Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Lucknow and Cochin. In July, Bitzer opened a new subsidiary office in Pune for its controls company Vacom.

“With an increase in sales over the year, we were falling short of space and hence decided to move to a bigger office, where our administrational departments are located now,” explained Bitzer India MD Harvinder Bhatia. “Our colleagues from Services and Green Point continue to operate from the previous building. The additional space we gained there will be used to stock more spare parts, oils, compressors, condensing units and heat exchangers.”
