Bitzer opens Green Point in China

CHINA: German manufacturer Bitzer has opened its first Green Point compressor service centre operation in China.

A wholly-owned Bitzer subsidiary, Green Point Refrigeration Technology Service (Shanghai) Co Limited was officially opened as an independent service company on December 8 in Shanghai.

Bitzer founded Green Point as a sub-brand in 2006 with the vision of developing a global service network and promoting after-sales in refrigeration and air conditioning. There are now more than 50 Green Point locations worldwide.

Established in China for 27 years, Bitzer now plans to extend its geographical coverage by adding more Green Point service centres throughout the country.

Green Point Refrigeration Technology Service (Shanghai) will provide original spare parts, refrigeration lubricant and to offer repair services for compressor users in China. In addition, it will offer start-up commissioning, oil inspection and annual preventive maintenance services.

According to the customer’s needs, the new company will also provide technical training, technology and energy-saving solutions consulting, as well as relevant suggestions on optimisation of refrigeration systems.
