Bitzer ranked 6th amongst top German companies

GERMANY: Compressor manufacturer Bitzer has been ranked in sixth place in a list of the 10,000 most important medium-sized German companies.

The list by the German business information network Die Deutsche Wirtschaft placed the Sindelfingen-based company in sixth position based on a scoring system encompassing 39 factors. These include, for example, patent strength, research expenditure, investment activities, online visibility, industry collaborations, certifications or employer offers.

The vast majority of all companies in Germany – over 3 million – are considered medium-sized. They account for around 60% of all jobs and over 80% of all training positions. In addition, of the 1,496 German world market leaders, more than half, 932 companies, are among the top medium-sized companies.
