Bob Sharp to leave Emerson

USA: Robert Sharp, executive president of Emerson’s Commercial & Residential Solutions business is reported to be leaving the company as he pursues new opportunities.  

Sharp, a member of the office of the chief executive, has worked for Emerson for nearly 25 years. He became executive president for Emerson’s Commercial & Residential Solutions business in 2016. Prior to that he served in a wide range of senior corporate and business level leadership roles, including director of investor relations, vice president of profit planning, and president of Europe for Automation Solutions.

Announcing his departure, Emerson chairman and CEO David N Farr said: “Bob used his considerable talents to make a significant impact throughout his career at Emerson, serving in critical roles both in our U.S. headquarters and across the globe. His contributions are many, and we wish him well in his future endeavours.”
