Bock creates dual leadership

Bock’s new management team: Dr Marcus Albrecht (left) and Stephan Schumann

GERMANY: Compressor manufacturer Bock GmbH has appointed Stephan Schumann as managing director sales and marketing.

Schumann forms a new dual leadership of the Frickenhausen-based company with existing CEO Dr Marcus Albrecht. With Schumann in charge of the sales and marketing function, Albrecht assumes responsibility for finance, supply chain, human resources and R&D.

Schumann has many years of sales experience in the capital goods industry as well as wide knowledge of the automotive supplier industry. He joins Bock from textile manufacturer Rökona Textilwerk, where he was latterly MD sales and marketing. Prior to that he spent five years at automotive supplier Eberspächer.

Bock says the new dual leadership will see a focus on increasing sales by opening up new growth areas, further expanding the global sales organisation, and identifying potential partnerships and cooperations.
