Bosch and Hitachi to collaborate on HMAX for Buildings
10th June 2026
GERMANY/JAPAN: Bosch is to collaborate with Hitachi on advanced connectivity and diagnostic solutions in the commercial HVAC sector.
The new collaboration will combine the domain knowledge of both companies and advanced AI, based on Hitachi’s HMAX for Buildings, an AI-powered asset management and smart building platform.
The intention is to accelerate global expansion by maximizing the lifetime value of equipment in mission-critical facilities requiring continuous operation, such as office buildings, commercial facilities, universities, hospitals, and factories.
Specifically, Hitachi Group’s HMAX for Buildings, also known by its digital service name BuilMirai, will connect its HVAC IoT solution Exiida with Bosch HC’s HVAC equipment management and visualisation solution AirCloud Pro.
The collaborators insist that by connecting Bosch HC’s HVAC equipment to BuilMirai, advanced and integrated operational management of building facilities will be achieved, including remote monitoring, fault prediction, and energy management. This will contribute to maximising the lifetime value of assets by optimising equipment maintenance costs, minimising downtime, and reducing energy costs.
