Brangers becomes president of Daikin France

FRANCE: Philip Brangers has been appointed president of Daikin Airconditioning France. He succeeds Hideki Nishimura, who has taken a new role at Daikin Industries in Japan.

Philip Brangers joined Daikin Europe in Ostend in 1995, where he served as sales manager for the Mediterranean/Russia and North and West Africa regions. In 1999, he was promoted to sales and marketing strategy manager within the Daikin Europe sales department.

From 2014, he held several responsibilities, working with the Daikin offices in Central Europe, South Africa, and Sweden, eventually becoming head of the residential and small commercial markets business unit. 

Moving to Daikin France in 2017, he spent four years as deputy commercial director. After three years back at Daikin Europe in the role of logistics and procurement director, rejoining Daikin France in January last year as deputy vice-president.
