Camfil buys Swedish air filtration company

Resema is a family-owned business with HQ in Tranås, Sweden

SWEDEN: Air filter company Camfil Svenska AB has acquired fellow Swedish filter company Resema AB and its Danish sister company Resema A/S.

Resema is a family-owned company, established in 1969 by Rune Sellö and has two production facilities in Sweden, in Tranås and Aneby. It also has sales offices in Stockholm and Malmö along with its Danish sister company in Rødovre, near Copenhagen.

Resema has around 65 employees and annual sales of around SEK100m. Its focus is on the development, production and strategic sales of air filtration solutions.

Torbjörn Bäck, president of Camfil Svenska, said that the acquisition would strengthen its offer in the Nordic market. “The synergies between Camfil and Resema in terms of competence and products will allow us to create more value for our customers,” he said.
