Carel appoints chief technology officer

ITALY: Controls manufacture Carel has appointed Paolo Faraldi as its new group chief technology officer.

Faraldi joins the company from Electrolux, where he was vice-president and head of group R&D food preparation. His career, spanning 20 years, includes 11 years in two spells at Electrolux and roles at a number of leading international companies, including Fiat, Indesit and Philips, both in Italy and abroad.

In this new role, Faraldi will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating Carel’s technical and digital projects, with the aim of fostering synergy and innovation across all areas of development.
