Carel new MDs in Iberia and China

ITALY: Controls and humidification company Carel has appointed Xavier Pinto as the new MD of Carel Ibérica, its subsidiary in Spain and Portugal.

Formerly Carel Ibérica’s commercial manager, Pinto will replace Luciano Marzaro who, after seven years in Spain, will move to the company’s manufacturing and sales subsidiary in China, Carel Electronic (Suzhou).

Carel Group chief sales and marketing officer Giandomenico Lombello commented: “Luciano Marzaro has done a great job in Spain and I am confident that he will be able to run the Chinese subsidiary with the same professionalism and skill, in line with Carel’s mission and development strategies.”

Of Pinto, he said: “Xavier Pinto has shown great commitment and dedication over the years, qualities that will help him successfully head the Carel Ibérica team to achieve the ambitious growth targets on the local market.”
