IRELAND: The application of Carel controls to Daikin Conveni-Pack refrigeration at a Tesco store has won an environmental award from the Institute of Refrigeration Ireland (IRI).

The installation at Tesco Ireland’s store in Dublin picked up the Environmental Award at the Institute of Refrigeration Ireland’s presentation evening at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dublin on April 11.

Carel Ireland’s Retail Sistema combined with a Conveni-Pack supplied by Daikin Ireland helped Tesco Ireland’s store in Dublin to record a 38% reduction in energy.

“This recognition is very important for our company, because it confirms our commitment to reducing environmental impact through high efficiency solutions in the retail market in Ireland” said David Killalea, md of Carel Ireland.
