Carrier commercial HVAC buoyant but group sales down 3%

USA: Carrier has reported its fifth consecutive year of double-digit growth in commercial HVAC in 2025, with data centre revenue growth of 50% to approximately $1bn.

However, group sales were down 3% to $21,747m, compared to 2024. The results, which also show organic sales down 1%, follows a fourth quarter where net sales were 6% down at $4,837m and organic sales down 9%.

“We continue to drive outsized growth in commercial HVAC with Q4 orders up nearly 50% driven by key data centre wins and are well positioned to drive our sixth consecutive year of double-digit growth in this business in 2026,” said Carrier chairman & CEO David Gitlin.
