Carrier Commercial Refrigeration signs Swedish distribution deal

Algidus AB was founded at the beginning of this year by Christian Wijkström

SWEDEN: Carrier Commercial Refrigeration has signed a strategic distributor agreement in Sweden with newly-formed company Algidus AB company.

Based in Djursholm, neck Stockholm, Algidus AB was founded at the beginning of this year by Christian Wijkström, who boasts more than 20 years experience in food retailing in Sweden. Before forming Algidus, he spent over seven years at Coop Butiker & Stormarknader AB, the fourth largest food retailer in Sweden.

“By distributing Carrier solutions to Swedish food retail operators, we offer a range of products delivering quality cold performance, helping optimise product displays and creating new sales opportunities and environments, all while reducing energy consumption and environmental footprint,” Wijkström said.

The company will begin distributing Carrier’s remote display cases to Swedish food retailers from this month.
