Carrier donates split ACs to Covid-19 hospital

CHINA: Carrier China has donated 180 split air conditioners to a makeshift Covid-19 quarantine hospital in Baoshan district, Shanghai.

The equipment will provide a healthy and comfortable indoor environment for patients and medical workers at the facility which has been set up to help fight a new Covid-19 outbreak.

The donated equipment was delivered from Carrier’s factory in Foshan, Guangdong, to Shanghai despite logistical restrictions during the city-wide lockdown.

Carrier China has a long-standing history and significant footprint in Shanghai,” said Titus Yu, vice president and general manager, Carrier HVAC, North Asia. “We did not hesitate to contribute and support the city and our community during this difficult period.”
