Castel acquires majority stake in Dieci Electric

ITALY: Refrigeration and air conditioning components supplier Castel has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Dieci Electric, a manufacturer of industrial RAC system electrical panels.

Established in 2008 from a previous co-operative company, Dieci Electric Srl has two production sites, one in the province of Catania and the other in Brescia, and a large customer base consisting mainly of builders, installers and retailers. The company’s strength lies in integrated solutions with management software, the production of special switchboards, remote monitoring and support during plant start-up.

Castel says that the acquisition reflects a determination to consolidate its position on the market and further enhance the value of the company in order to support the growth of its customers.

“By becoming part of the group, Dieci Electric Srl will be able to offer increasingly complete solutions in line with the needs of a market characterised by continuous technological development,” Castel said in a statement.

Established in 1961, Castel Srl is a 100% Italian-owned family-run company with subsidiaries in Shanghai, Miami and Dubai.
