Chinese seize R22 shipment

CHINA: An illegal shipment of 1.36 tons of refrigerant R22 has been seized by customs in the Chinese city of Yiwu.

The shipment of around 100 cylinders  was found hidden in a container bound for the Philippines and without the necessary export licenses and documentation.

Yiwu is China’s leading open market and commodities centre.
