Cook Islands ratify Kigali

COOK ISLANDS: The Cook Islands, the tropical archipelago of 15 islands in the South Pacific, has become the latest country to ratify the Kigali Amendment to phase down HFCs.
The Cook Islands becomes the 81st country to formally ratify the Kigali Amendment, which was adopted by 197 countries in 2016. Under the agreement, countries commit to cut the production and consumption of HFCs by more than 80% over the next 30 years.
