Daikin claims heat pump lead after 1 millionth Altherma sale

BELGIUM: Daikin is claiming a lead position in the European hydronic heat pump market after announcing the installation of its one millionth unit.
The claims are based on hydronic heat pump market data by building market intelligence and data analytics company BRG Building Solutions, which are said to confirm Daikin’s no 1 position in Europe in this segment, which covers air-to-water heat pumps, hybrid heat pumps and ground source heat pumps.
With five European factories dedicated to heat pump production, Daikin continues to grow and invest massively in Europe, with the recently announced new production factory in Poland and R&D centre in Belgium.
