Daikin combines northeast distributors

USA: Daikin has created Daikin Comfort Technologies Northeast Inc by bringing together three of its northeast distributors.

Daikin Northeast will unify ABCO, Universal Supply and Robinson Supply into one organisation. Daikin acquired Robinson Supply in 2020, ABCO in 2021 and Universal Supply in 2022.

The combined entity will encompass 39 branch locations in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. 

“Each company is bringing a unique set of talents to achieve a common goal: being the best commercial and residential solutions provider for all of the HVAC professionals we have the privilege to serve,” commented Michael Senter, the former CEO of ABCO who is now Daikin Northeast president.

Daikin Northeast will be headquartered in Long Island City, New York, it will offer Daikin, Amana and Goodman equipment, controls and parts as well as refrigeration, plumbing and hydronics equipment, supplies and accessories from leading manufacturers.
