Daikin sales up 10.2%

JAPAN: Daikin has recorded sales of JPY2,225,154m (US$14,792m), an increase of 10.2% for the Q2 three-month period ending September 30.
In terms of profits, operating income was up 6.4% at JPY235,746m (US$1,567m), with ordinary income showing the same percentage increase to JPY221,073m (US$1,469m).
The company’s air conditioning and refrigeration business, it’s main activity, saw sales increase 10.9% year on year to 2,055,977m (US$13,664m).
