Daikin sees AC sales increase nearly 30%

JAPAN: Daikin’s air conditioning and chiller business achieved third quarter consolidated sales JPY2,733,235m ($20,848m), an increase of 29.9% on the same nine-month period last year.
As a whole, the company recorded sales of JPY2,985,667m (US$22,773m) an increase of 29.7% year-on year.
Operating income was up 17.1% to JPY303,757m ($2,317m).
