Daikin to buy US filter company?

JAPAN: Japanese air conditioner manufacturer Daikin is reported to be negotiating the purchase of a US-based filter supplier.

Nikkei’s Asian Review is reporting that Daikin’s bid for unnamed air filter supplier in California could be confirmed as early as next month.

Daikin has been expanding its commercial filter business through its group subsidiaries AAF and Nippon Muki. In April, Daikin acquired major US air filter company Flanders and acquired Swedish filter company Dinair last month.
