Danfoss increases heat exchanger production

DENMARK: Danfoss is reported to be expanding its heat exchanger production capacity in response to heat pumps, chillers and district energy.

The Danish manufacturer claims to have substantially expanded its production of brazed-plate heat exchangers in China and Slovenia. In addition, Danfoss says it has invested in propane test facilities in France and further expanded its range of R290 microplate brazed plate heat exchangers.

The Danfoss factory in China is one of the plants increasing production

“We have proactively expanded our production capacity because the global energy transition has ignited a high demand for heat pumps, chillers, and district energy solutions,” stated Mads Pinnerup, Danfoss’ vice president brazed plate heat exchangers.

“Last year, we significantly grew our market presence with several million heat exchangers installed in different applications, and we have doubled our capacity to support the growth journeys of our existing and new customers,” he added.

Apart from China and Slovenia, Danfoss manufactures heat exchangers in Australia, Brazil, Denmark, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, North America, Poland, Romania, and the United Arab Emirates.
