Danish PM visits Danfoss

DENMARK: Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen made a surprise visit to the Danfoss headquarters in Nordborg yesterday to see how existing technologies could significantly reduce energy consumption and emissions.
Danfoss CEO Kim Fausing hosted the guided tour and explained how Danfoss intended to achieve CO2 neutrality at its headquarters before the end of the year using energy-efficient solutions.
Fausing also talked about the potential of district heating and explained how excess heat and renewable energy could push fossil fuels out of the heating network using heat pumps.
The Prime Minister later visited the refrigeration and air conditioning controls production site and greeted colleagues from production.
