DiversiTech adds new US facility

USA: Air conditioning and refrigeration components company DiversiTech is to open a new facility in  Leesburg, Florida, in a $2.1m capital investment project.

The new factory, in Leesburg’s Carver Heights/Montclair area, will be used to expand production of DiversiTech’s range of concrete air conditioning condenser pads. The new plant is the company’s second manufacturing plant in Florida and its seventh manufacturing site in the USA.

“DiversiTech made the investment in Leesburg to expand our concrete manufacturing capacity and to improve service to our Florida customers by taking advantage of the central location and the terrific workforce,” said DiversiTech CEO Andy Bergdoll.

The new facility will create a minimum of 25 jobs and attract funding of $125,000 over five years under Florida’s Qualified Target Industry tax refund.
