Dorney appointed FläktGroup CEO

UK: David Dorney (above) has been appointed CEO of the FläktGroup to replace Trevor Young, who has decided to step down from the role he has held for the last two years.
Dorney joined FläktGroup in February 2024 as chief sales officer, after 24 years at Johnson Controls, and is said to have been a key stakeholder during the recent acquisition by Samsung.
During his time at Johnson Controls he held a variety of leadership roles, including vice president and general manager of the EMEA Heating and Cooling division. He led the field business, overseeing more than 1,500 employees across 14 countries..
In a company statement, the company thanked Young for his leadership and valuable contributions during his tenure. He originally joined the company, then called Flakt Woods in 2011, as Euopean vice-president.
